Dealer Diagnostics: 

Firmware updates to induvial hardware or whole system.
Battery consumption - check whether there is an abnormality in battery consumption.
Error checks and diagnosis of single units or the whole system. 
Fixes to failed firmware or corrupted updates. 
check system functions, connections, and errors as well as update firmware and customize functions.

Note: Non Shimano App's - when the latest firmware is updated this will course issues that affect the motor.  We see the customer after they have done the update and in some case's results in a new motor. We have saved some that have not continued to use the bike and remove the App.
These App's are not recommended by Shimano and is the responsibility of the owner. 
Warranty replacement

to batteries, motors and displays. 
You brought your bike elsewhere, we can carryout the warranty procedure and you can get the authorisation from where your brought the bike, to pay you our charges. Many online shops don't want the hassle of having a bike returned by post.

Subject to diagnostics, paperwork, postage and labour.  

We will need to see proof of purchase and ID. 

Using non shimano apps or speed devices on the steps system will invalidate your warranty and may incur extra charges if sending any component to Shimano with warranty issues.

E-bikes require more care and regular  maintenance, partially when used everyday or off-road.

And that includes parts replacing at regular intervals to avoid wear to associated components that can lead to expensive service costs.


Preparation for repair/service.

Please make sure the e-Bike is accessible, that the Technician has the key and the charger is made available.

Due to health and safety requirements, we require that all e-bikes that are brought in for servicing are accompanied with the key, so our Technicians can remove the battery if required. We are unable to progress with any servicing on an e-bike without the key.

Battery Charging Info:
  • For optimal charging, the battery is designed to be removed and charged at room temperature between 10° and 20°C. 
  • Store batteries in a cool, indoor location with stable temperature between approximately 10° to 20°C
  • Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight or rain or in an environment likely to drop below 10° C. 
  • IMPORTANT! Avoid freezing temperatures.
  • Charge battery to around 70% before storing for a period of time
  • Every six months, charge battery back up to around 70% 
  • Before battery use, charge it completely
