e-Bike Motor Repairs

e-Bikes require a deeper level of service beyond the manufacturer's 30-day service. 

The environment the motor performs in is very demanding. 


Cycle Tech UK offers a custom detailed inspection of the motor and additional components.

This inspection picks-up worn or stressed components before actual breakdown. 

e-Bikes are specialist machines that require earlier inspections, additional to regular servicing.


If your e-Bike is out of the 2-years warranty or you are not the original owner. You can have your motor repaired and the choice to upgrade the bearings and seals if available.

Cycle Tech UK advice to reduce problems further down the line or while out on the trail.


Regular inspection, with the goal of lessening the likelihood of failure, reducing unexpected downtime, lower overall maintenance costs and prolonging its useful life. In practice, this means regularly checking of the motor and associated parts for small problems and fixing them before failure can occur.


In between servicing, No jet washing or deep-water fording, cover motor if transporting the bike on a rack on wet roads.
